Obviously we've all grown up since the vita and im not living at my parents using their mediocre Comcast wifi, and I currently have fiber internet, so could that be the case? Ik my Vita and standard ps4 only support a 2.4GHz frequency internet but im pretty sure all modern 5GHz routers automatically duplicate a separate 2.4GHz frequency for those devices, don't they? I've even tried setting the direct connection option with the vita and ps4, which was usually the smoothest and fastest if you were close enough, but I can barely get it to connect that way too! I just want to do some online hacking on Watch Dogs while sitting on my couch :( PC and mobile remote play would eventually be available but it always ran like garbage compared to the vita. As if the Vita and PS4 were truly meant for each other. Constantly lagging out of the stream a minute in or not even connecting at all! I remember I used to remote play all the time and it would be nearly flawless. However, I noticed using remote play to my standard PS4 performs tremendously worst than it used to. After a few years of being stubborn about Sony no longer supporting the vita, and newer ps4 games no longer having proper remote play support, I started showing undesirable love for my vita again! Loving everything about it, minus some of the missing online features and apps.
